Agrilife Advice For Mothers Coping Without Infant Formula

Handtohold.org

Rains County Agrilife Extension Agent Sarah Latham discusses tips provided by Texas A&M Agrilife for mothers having to do without baby formula.

Among the recommendations: Do not feed your baby cow’s milk or other non-dairy milk until 1 year old, unless you’ve talked to your child’s pediatrician. Also, don’t make homemade infant formula or water down formula; there are serious health and safety concerns.

Sarah also discusses an Agrilife article on the health benefits of gardening.
