A group of Texas parents is suing four school districts, including three in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs, because the schools do not require masking.

  • Four Texas school districts are being sued by a group of parents who feel masks should be required in schools.
  • DFW-area districts being sued include Grapevine-Colleyville, Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Frisco. Austin-area district Lago Vista is also being sued.
  • San Antonio ISD has authored a policy requiring staff to show proof of vaccination by Oct. 15. The Texas Attorney General's Office sought a temporary injunction against the policy, but a district judge denied the request today. The state plans to appeal.
