Early voting numbers show 212 votes cast so far in the Commerce Middle School building bond election.

  • The most recent available official totals in Commerce show 212 ballots cast from voters eligible to vote on the proposed bond for the construction of a new Commerce Middle School building. Election Day is Tue. Nov. 2.
  • Hunt Regional Healthcare officials have requested from Hunt County an additional $1.8 million from federal American Rescue Plan funds, which are allocated locally by the Hunt County Commissioners Court. The money would serve to offset costs associated with serving the region during the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • A Rockwall Sheriff's Posse horse was euthanized following an injury.
