• Bonds proposals in Hunt County include a new Commerce Middle School building, a new Hunt County jail and sheriff's office, and Lone Oak ISD facility improvements. West Tawakoni has three council seats on today's ballots, along with a proposed freeze on property taxes for seniors. The newly incorporated city of Poetry has a sales tax proposal for street maintenance funds.
