Hunt County – The Hunt County Commissioner's Court will consider lifting a burn ban in regular session today. Hunt County remains dry, but new Hunt County Fire Marshall Mike Pierce has said that conditions are right to lift the ban, even if it may be only temporary.
Many area counties have begun lifting burn bans that were in place for most of the summer.
