The Moving Wall on display in Commerce this weekend

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – The Moving Wall will be on display on the A&M-Commerce campus 24 hours a day through Sunday afternoon. The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Vietnam War memorial in Washington D.C. and displays the names of the over 58,000 soldiers that died in the war. The Wall appears on campus as part of the 15th Annual Veteran's Vigil to mark Veteran's Day tomorrow.

Join KETR for special programming to coincide with Veteran's Day, beginning at 11am with The World War I Living History Project honoring veterans of what was called the war to end all wars . The special We Remember , produced at KETR will air at 1pm, followed by special from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir honoring veterans. A documentary following the home life of the families of today's soldiers and a special concert recorded from the Recital Hall of the A&M-Commerce Music Department will finish a day marking Veteran's Day.

The Moving Wall appears on the West Lawn of the A&M-Commerce campus 24 hours a day through 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
