Man convicted of sex crimes involving children

By Kevin Jefferies

Sulphur Springs – A Sulphur Springs man has been convicted by a Hopkins County jury on one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child. 36 year old Charles Whitley Mick has no previous record and faces probation to life in prison.

The conviction comes after a strange turn of events in court last week, where tape of Wick's polygraph test was allowed as evidence in the case.
