Decision to come soon regarding Hunt County capitol murder case

By Brad Kellar

Hunt County – A decision could be announced soon regarding a capitol murder case in Hunt County. Prosecutors are nearing a decision as to whether to seek death by lethal injection for John William Trotman III of Mesquite. Hunt County District Attorney F. Duncan Thomas said he is leaning toward seeking the death penalty for Trotman, should he be convicted. Trotman has been charged with capital murder in connection with a fatal stabbing in Greenville last November.
