Man sentenced to prison for marijuana possession

By Brad Kellar

Hunt County – A man with many names has been sentenced to prison for possessing marijuana in Hunt County. Sean Kay had listed multiple names and multiple addresses, according to criminal records. Whatever name he had used and no matter where he's lived, Kay will now be assigned a number and will call a state prison home.

Kay was sentenced to prison Tursday for transporting large amounts of marijuana through Hunt County on two separate occasions last year. Kay, also known as Steven Bernard Hightower and Kerry Desilva, has listed addresses in Bronx, N.Y., Hamilton Ohio and Mesquite, Texas.

Kay entered guilty pleas to both counts last month. During a punishment hearing Thursday, Kay was sentenced to 9.5 years in prison on each indictment, with the sentences to run concurrently.
