An armed robbery suspect pleads guilty to a lesser charge.
Favian Ontoin Brown pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of burglary of a habitation. Under a plea bargain arrangement, Brown was given two years of deferred adjudication probation with 300 hours of community service and a $500 fine.
Brown, along with Edward Joe Lopez, both of Commerce, were indicted last October on the charges. The pair was alleged to have used a firearm to threaten and rob two male victims of money in Commerce in June, 2008.
Lopez is currently scheduled for trial in October.
