Woman identified in alleged Paris suicide

By Scott Harvey

Paris – The woman found dead at a Paris Park on Friday is being identified as Cindy Bowlin, the executive director of Models of the Maker, a local women's shelter.

At around 11:00 p.m. Friday in Walker Park, Officer Raymond Moss located Bowlin in the driver's seat of a vehicle with a single gunshot wound.

Bowlin was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Tim Risinger at 11:30 p.m. An autopsy has been ordered.

The preliminary investigation appears to be one of a suicide as there was a firearm found in the vehicle along with notes from the deceased. The case remains under investigation.
