Greenville – Two local men have been indicted for murder in connection to a February shooting death.
The Hunt County Grand Jury Friday handed down the charges against Tyron Learone McCurdy and Bernard dale Kelly Jr., both of Greenville. An unidentified juvenile was also named in the indictment, which stems from the shooting death of 22-year-old Treybbian Leekey Nelson, also of Greenville.
The shooting reportedly occurred in the 1000 block of Edgar St. Nelson was transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas where he underwent surgery, but later died from his injuries.
