Northbound I-35 traffic affected by upturned cattle trailer

I-35 at Colorado Boulevard in Dallas was expected to be opened up again by 10am today.

According to a report by Ryan Wood with WFAA-TV, the accident which left the livestock hauler on its side happened around 1:30am Thursday. The driver indicates that the upper deck center of gravity shifted after a particularly sharp turn.

The same report indicates that at least two of the cows, in a panic, jumped from the Trinity River Bridge.
