COMMERCE - "I always wanted to do it and I thought it was an awesome experience just to go and support cancer survivors and victims and the whole idea of how cancer never sleeps."
The Northeast Texas community once again showed their strong desire to come together for a good cause during the April 13 Relay for Life at the Texas A&M University-Commerce Field House.
KETR intern James Barrans attended the overnight event, speaking with various participants about the experience.
"They had a survivor lap there and that got me really emotional. I thought that was really cool."
