During a recent trip, Mary discovered that an old way of life is still thriving along the Mediterranean Sea.

A "kibbutz," Hebrew for gathering or clustering, is a communal collective which is typically based on agriculture. "Kibbutzniks" began forming the communities in Israel as early as the 1920's, and the communities still thrive today.
