Known for her Grammy award winning co-write on The Dixie Chicks song "Little Jack Slade," Terri Hendrix has released 14 albums in 20 years - but the fiercely independent, multi-instrumentalist was not content to stop there. She has written a book AND created a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music and art where it's needed most.

Hendrix and longtime music collaborator Lloyd Maines will perform in Sulphur Springs on April 18, followed by a music workshop on April 19 at Crossroads Music Company.
Before hitting the road , Terri checked in with Notably Texan to talk about the show and workshop, her upcoming "Project Five" music and book releases scheduled for 2016, and more.
