This week on Movie Picks, Alice reviews Kung Fu Panda 3, The Finest Hours, and 45 Years.
Alice was surprised by this movie because it isn't your typical third movie in a franchise. She really thought they had a fresh plot, but also included the characters people have already come to know and love. Jack Black returns as Po, and Kate Hudson and J.K. Simmons join the cast. Alice really recommends this movie.
Alice was not impressed by this movie. She didn't like the romance that was, in her opinion, not really connected to the main story, and the lead role played by Chris Pine was miscast. She does recommend it for the action scenes and the true story of this impressive mission.
Alice highly recommends this movie. Charlotte Rampling was nominated for an Oscar in her role as Kate, a wife for 45 years who is learning some new things about her husband. Tom Courtenay plays her husband, Geoff.
