COOPER - A Delta County man has been laid to rest after a deadly motorcycle crash last Friday. Services were held Wednesday for Stephen Bryan Hicks.
State Troopers say Hicks, of Cooper, was traveling along FM 1529 in the direction of the dam at Cooper Lake when his motorcycle left the roadway. It then traveled down the embankment before striking a fence near the lake bridge.
Hicks is immediately survived by his wife Mindy, and two young children, Brennan and Breeanna. He had been a resident of the Cooper area since 1996.
