Sugg to serve eight years in connection to fatal crash

PARIS - A Paris man has accepted a plea deal in an intoxication manslaughter case.

53-year-old Rickey Sugg was sentenced to eight years in prison. Reports indicate that Sugg was driving from Pat Mayse Lake at a high rate of speed when he lost control on a turn and crashed.

His passenger, Jeri Hancock died of severe head injuries.

Sugg would later admit he was intoxicated, according to reports.
