The Sulphur Springs ISD school board has scheduled meetings with three consulting groups concerning selection of a new superintendent.
Current Superintendent Patsy Bolton will retire at the end of the school year. After an informal work meeting, a firm could be chosen during the regular meeting January 9th.
The vacancy of board member Foy Williams will also be discussed. Williams served on the board for eight years and is stepping down for health reasons.
