SULPHUR SPRINGS - Hopkins County Relay for Life earns the disinclination of a $1 million Relay thanks to a strong showing over the weekend.
The more than $66,000 raised allowed the campaign to eclipse the milestone.
The Sulphur Springs News-Telegram reports the Morningstar Team was recognized for raising the most money by an adult team at $6,000, while nearly $30,000 was earned through the First United Methodist Church Youth team.
The Hunt County Relay for Life also took place over the weekend. Last month, participants at the A&M-Commerce Relay for Life helped raise over $30,000.
