COOPER - Crews are about midway through a project to renovate Cooper City Park, which is now equipped with an improved Rodeo Arena and tennis courts.
The project will also include improvements to park roads, installation of a camping pad with electricity, water and sewer lines and a new garden.
The City of Cooper was awarded the grant through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, putting up a $75,000 match for the $150,000 total project.
