COMMERCE – For the third straight year, Texas A&M University-Commerce has achieved its highest enrollment in school history, welcoming its 12,000th student August 28.
The accomplishment came after Hannah Wilson enrolled for the fall semester.
“Thanks to the entire university community, we have reached another milestone in our history,” said Dr. Mary Hendrix, vice president of Student Access and Success. “Our team set goals three years ago to reach 10,000 in Fall 2010, 11,000 in Fall 2011, and 12,000 in Fall 2012. We are very proud to announce that we achieved that goal this morning with the enrollment of Hannah Wilson.”
Wilson, a freshman from Bogota, plans to major in animal science and minor in equine science.
