City of Greenville Celebrating TX DOT Contributions

City of Greenville

Greenville city officials intend today to show their appreciation to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The city of Greenville and the Greenville Board of Development have scheduled a thank-you reception for 4 pm in the Fletcher Warren Civic Center in Greenville. The event is being billed as a way to thank TX DOT for being a partner in the city’s progress, and for having contributed more than $62 million in transportation projects in the Greenville community since 2008. Among the projects recently completed are the State Highway 34/Wesley Street Overpass across Interstate 30 and the Monty Stratton underpass beneath the Interstate, as well as an expansion of US Highway 380 between Greenville and the Hunt/Collin County line.
