The Hunt County grand jury has returned multiple indictments alleging incidents of aggravated assault.
— Timothy James Hobbs, 33, of Wylie, received one indictment for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Hobbs was alleged in the indictment to have stabbed a male victim with a knife on Nov. 23, 2012.
— Brandon Shane Hooten, 37, of Greenville, received one indictment for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Hooten was alleged to have threatened a female victim with a knife on January 9.
— Michael Louis Williams, 29, of Quinlan, received one indictment for aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Williams was alleged in the indictment to struck a male victim with in the face, and to have beaten the victim with his fist, on Sept. 15, 2013.
Aggravated assault is a second degree felony, punishable upon conviction by a maximum sentence of from two to 20 years in prison and an optional fine of up to $10,000.
