Weldon Jason Hill of Commerce was recently arrested on a charge of theft of property. The property in question was stolen in December in Delta County, police said.

After the incident,  an antique Dr. Pepper cooler, blow torches, chainsaw and copper wire were reported stolen from a building west of Klondike.

Sergeant Charla Anderson led the investigation, assisted by Deputies Jeremy Jones, Jacob Watkins and Investigator Jeremy Norsworthy.

Only the Dr. Pepper cooler and blow torches were recovered.

The Commerce Police Department, Hunt County Sheriff’s Office and Delta County Sheriff’s Office all issued warrants for his arrest.
