Lion football recruits include big linemen, talented QBs

Texas A&M University-Commerce head football coach Colby Carthel says among the 44 high-school recruitssigned Wednesday, are 6-foot-7-inch, 318 pound Lane Hasse of Weimar and 6-foot-10-inch, 298 pound Nathaniel Young of Lake Jackson, both offensive linemen.  Carthel says the team was aiming to build its depth in the offensive line.  The Lions added two quarterbacks, 6-foot-3-inch, 22o pound Geo McCollister of John Tyler and 6-foot-2-inch, 180 pound Preston Wheeler of Austin Bowie.  Joining Colby on the program is A&M-Commerce athletic director Ryan Ivey.
