Commerce Chamber of Commerce manager Paul Voss is presenting the transportation concerns of the county to state legislative leaders in Austin as part of "Hunt County Days" March 3-4. Leaders from the county will travel to the state capital to meet with legislators and others. Voss says one particular concern is the growing traffic on Interstate 30. He says about 7,700 trucks travel on I-30 each day from Texarkana to Dallas, and that's more than four years ahead of forecasts.
