Record Breaking: Speed and Power Race into Celebration City

It was more than just speed and power but record breaking as the WannaGOFAST races landed at the Celebration City – Sulphur Springs Airport – this weekend.  T1racedevelopment.com smashed the GT-R World Record, not once, but twice with a speed of 235.60 at the Texas 1/2 Mile Shootout.

The event hosted 130 vehicles on Saturday ranging from Lamborghinis to Porsches to Dodge Vipers and the new Corvette Z06 models.

“Most fun I have had in a long time,” said Sulphur Springs City Manager Marc Maxwell, as a spectator of the event.

T1racedevelopment.com broke the Nissan GT-R World Record with a high speed of 235.60 miles per hour.

The event continued on Sunday but impending weather conditions prevented much participation.

The City of Sulphur Springs and the Downtown Business Alliance assisted in the event, providing shuttles to and from the parking lots. There were also many vendors and food trucks on site for the racing fans.
