Shop Local Cards have arrived in Delta County with specials and discounts to many establishments.

Shop Local Cards have arrived. These cards are sponsored by the Delta County Economic Development Corporation and will be distributed by the Cooper High School FFA students and instructor Welton Pickering.

“I am very pleased with this program,” said Delta County Economic Development Corporation Chairwoman Diane Stegall, modeling this after other successful coupon cards in neighboring communities. “Our goal is to keep our dollars in Delta County, supporting our folks and to help the economy at a level to give back to the community.”

The cards include business discounts and specials for: Automatic Gas in Cooper, Highway 24 Lumber & Feed, Inc., Delta Supermarket, The Beauty Depot, Big Jon’s Burgers, Dairy Queen, Cooper Outlet, Cottonland Finds, Delta Country Club, The Flower Patch, Fatboy’s BBQ, The Fish Place, The Silver Skillet, Subway, Hoity Toity, Jalapeno’s Mexican Grill, J-T Services, Little Chef, Miller’s Pharmacy, Modern Woodmen of America, Murray’s World Famous Bar-B-Que, Pampered Paws, Paris Optical, Floral Depot, Hometown Donuts, Pecan Gap Pet, Skinner’s Tin Top Bait, Tackle & Storage and Red Door Antiques & Collectibles.

The cost is $10 each for card, and each card expires on the last day of 2016.
