Linked In

Hunt County Historical Commission chairman Carol Taylor recently wrote an article on her blog about her great, great grandmother Emiline Seay, who ran a large ranch in Montague County near Wichita Falls after her husband, A.M. Seay died.  Carol recently attended a regional historical conference on women ranchers in Texas.  She says Missouri Caroline Wall Horton ran a ranch in what is now the Artis Heights area on the northeast side of Greenville.

John Mark Dempsey is the host of the public interest program The Blacklands Café from KETR News. Dempsey is also the play-by-play announcer for Commerce Tigers Football on 88.9 FM and on ketr.org.
