Enloe Prepares For July Celebration

The Enloe parade will be held on Saturday, July 1 at 5 p.m.

The community of Enloe will be hosting their annual Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 1. The parade draws crowds from all around and is open to anyone.  All participants in the parade should begin to line up at the vacant lot across from the community center at 4:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. 

The parade starts at 5 p.m. followed by a cookout at the Enloe Community Center. The center will provide the main meal of hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. and guests are invited to supply side dishes, chips, or dessert. There will be water activities for children of all ages.

Everyone is invited. Donations are accepted.

Riding in the annual Enloe Parade this year will be Delta County Precinct 4 Commissioner Mark Brantley, as the Grand Marshall along with Clarice Maddox, as Miss Enloe. The parade will have an official escort by Delta County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone that wants to be in the parade can be in the parade, or view the parade as it passes through downtown Enloe.
