The Bonham City Council Monday unanimously adopted an eight year plan to deal with growth in the city and region.
Visioning Bonham 2017-2025 (also known as VisBon-2025) outlines a yearlong look at planning for what city officials call a “snowball in the coming six to eight years.”
City officials cite the expansion of the Metroplex, growing trade along US Highway 82, and the coming $1 billion-plus Lower Bois’ D’ Arc Creek Reservoir Water Project, which is forecasted for mid-2018.
The plan incorporates public input gleaned earlier this year.
