AgriLife Extension Club of Delta County was provided a special 2017 Christmas Joys program by Hopkins County AgriLife Extension agent Johanna Hicks.
At the previous gathering she provided helpful tips for holiday crafts, gift-giving, and recipes at the Delta County Civic Center. Everything from simple Apple Pie Danish Biscuits to colorful wreaths made of Mason jar lids were demonstrated to those in attendance.
There were carefully crafted refreshments served as well as door prizes before adjourning the meeting. She even revealed a direct phone line to Santa: 951.262.3062.
The Delta County Extension Club will offer one more program on Monday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. for Christmas Trivia before ending 2017 year. Members are encouraged to share their own favorite recipes and craft ideas. The hostess will be Dolores Jackson. It will be held at the Delta County Civic Center.
