A&M-C National Championship Celebrations Set

Commerce Chamber of Commerce manager Paul Voss discusses celebrations of the 2017 NCAA Division II football champions, the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions.  The team will be recognized at halftime of the men's basketball game vs. Midwestern State on Thursday, January 25.  At 11 a.m. Friday, January 26, a program honoring the team will be presented in Ferguson Auditorium (Social Science Building) followed by lunch and a mixer from 12 noon- 2 p.m. in the Sam Rayburn Student Center.  On Monday, February 5 at 11:30 a.m., the team will be honored at an event in downtown Commerce on the lawn between Mugs and the Drunken Mule.  At 6 p.m. Friday, February 23 , a fund-raising banquet, "A Night of Champions," will take place in the Student Center.
