The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested a Prairiland High School senior Monday on charges of making terroristic threats.
Prairiland Superintendent Jeff Ballard told the Paris News that parents and students received text messages about "alarming statements" that some district students made online.
The identities of the student arrested and other students believed to be connected with the threatening messages have not yet been released. The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office has not commented publicly on the matter.
