Residents Say Princeton's New Logo Must Go

The $9,500 logo was not a hit with Princetonians.

City officials in Princeton wanted a new look for their growing Collin County town. They recently introduced a new logo – and residents utterly hate it.

After the new logo and slogan, Catch the Excitement” were printed in the Princeton Herald, residents took to facebook with alternate suggestions. Those ranged from “Fast Food Capital of Texas” to “Pay me, I’ll come up with something better.”

The logo design cost the city $9,500. That's actually an average price. The bill was paid by the City of Princeton, the Princeton Economic Development Corporation, and the Princeton Community Development Corporation.
