Perez, Machorro Go From A&M-Commerce to the NFL

Luis Perez, left, and Jared Machorro turned a trip to NFL Mini-Camp into NFL contracts.

Two players from last year's NCAA Division II National Champion Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions signed with the NFL this week. Harlon Hill Trophy-winning Lions quarterback Luis Perez signed with the Los Angeles Rams; All-American Lions tackle Jared Machorro signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
