Byron Taylor, president and CEO of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, discusses plans for a 6,700-acre industrial and residential development on the west side of Greenville. Walton Global Holdings, a Canadian company, is planning the development, which would extend for six miles along Highway 380. The development would make use of railroad lines on the west side of Greenville to create a product distribution hub. Also, the chamber will host a job fair from 9-4 Friday (June 8) at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center. Twenty-seven Greenville industries will be represented at the job fair.
