Two separate accidents claimed the lives of two men in Northeast Texas on Tuesday.
The first happened near Petty, in Lamar County, just before 6 a.m. Police say Brandon Smith of Brookston died in a single-vehicle crash on US Highway 82.
No other information is available.
Not long after that call, police say, a second single-vehicle accident claimed the life of 25-year-old Justin Anderton of Telephone. Anderton reportedly crashed into a tree where Farm to Market 28-15 meets State Highway 11 in Fannin County. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
