Commerce Middle School principal Dr. Shenequa Miller is organizing a mentorship program called "Make the Knot" in which local men will mentor Middle School boys. They will each teach a boy to tie a necktie. One organizational meeting has already happened, and the next meeting for mentors will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (November 8) in the Commerce Middle School library. The mentors will meet the boys at 2:25 p.m., Wednesday, November 28. The Commerce Community Action Program (C-CAP) is a partner in the program, and Dr. John Ballotti of C-CAP also appears on this program.
