A&M-C Softball Well-Positioned For Regionals; 'Champions' Raises $99,000+

Texas A&M-Commerce Athletic Director Tim McMurray discusses the prospects of the Lions softball team, which took two of three over the weekend against Cameron, and claimed second-place in the final Lone Star Conference regular-season standings.  The Lions will play in the Lone Star Conference tournament this weekend (May 3-4) at Texas A&M-Kingsville, and could be in line to host a regional after that.  Also, Tim says the recent "Night with Champions" fund-raising event raised over $99,000 for the athletic department.
