Amy Welch and Jim Ayres of the Commerce Rotary Club discuss "Waves of Glory," November 9-16, in which flags honoring U.S. veterans will fly at Commerce City Park. A dedication ceremony will take place at 6 p.m., Friday, November 8. All Hunt County veterans, living and dead, are eligible for recognition. The deadline to nominate a veteran for recognition is Monday (October 28). A placard attached to each flag will honor a veteran.
