- The Greenville Independent School District will be hosting town hall meetings on the topic of a bond proposal in the upcoming May election. The Greenville ISD is seeking voter approval of a 169 million dollar bond this year. Most of the bond would fund the construction of a new middle school, a new early childhood center, and renovations at Greenville High School. Meetings will be held Monday, April 25 at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center. Greenville ISD officials will host a morning meeting at 7:00 and an evening meeting at 5:30.
- The annual Hunt County Fair and Livestock Show in Greenville opens today and continues through May 1. Details and a schedule of events are available at HuntCountyFair.net.
- In Princeton this Saturday, the annual Onion Festival will be hosted at Princeton High School. The schedule of events includes activities ranging from basketball and tennis, to a craft and vendor show and a 4K race. Also, the Princeton Lions Club will be fundraising to help its services benefitting children. The Princeton High School choir and jazz band will be performing.
