A&M-Commerce annual rodeo returns to Hopkins County Civic Center Arena

The A&M-Commerce men's and women's teams both occupy first place in the 11-member National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Southern Region.

Teams from colleges and universities across Texas and Louisiana will be in Sulphur Springs Friday and Saturday.

The 4th annual Texas A&M University-Commerce Rodeo returns the Hopkins County Civic Center in Sulphur Springs on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 3-4). Both days will feature a slack round of events during the daytime with a show performance on both evenings. Saturday's evening performance will showcase a final round of the top 10 competitors in each event. Homestyle food at the concession stand and A&M-Commerce Rodeo Team merchandise will be available.

Admission is free.

Friday, Feb. 3: 2-6 p.m.; 7 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 4: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; 7 p.m.

The Hopkins County Civic Center is located at 1200 Houston St. in Sulphur Springs.
