- Interstate 30 at Lake Ray Hubbard is undergoing major expansion, and work on the project is involving some closures of the highway this week. Beginning this past Monday, I-30 over Lake Ray Hubbard has been closed nightly from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. This overnight closure schedule will continue through early Friday morning. This weekend, I-30 at Lake Ray Hubbard will be closed from 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. overnight Friday and Saturday night. These overnight closures are scheduled to end 8 a.m. Sunday morning. New frontage road bridges are being built across Lake Ray Hubbard from Bass Pro Drive to Dalrock Road.
- A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Hunt, Collin, Rockwall, Kaufman, Van Zandt, and Rains counties through noon Wednesday. Hail and damaging winds are possible rishks.
