Outdoors writer/radio host/book author Luke Clayton has been addicted to everything outdoors related since his childhood when he grew up hunting and fishing in rural northeast Texas. Luke pens a weekly newspaper column that appears in 34 Texas newspapers and is Editor at Large for Extreme Hog Hunter Magazine, Bowhunting Adventures and East Texas Outdoors Magazine and field editor for Dallas Safari Club "Camp Talk" publication.  Luke is on the pro staff of Mathews Bows, Smokin' Tex Electric Smokers, and GhostBlind. I’m sure most readers of my column are well aware of my take on catch and release. I’m all about the conservation of our fish and game but have absolutely no problem with the practice of releasing the fish I need for dinner into a hot cast iron skillet filled with cooking oil. This week Larry Weishuhn and I talk about a couple of fun days spent with our buddy Jeff Rice.

Mr. Hirth traps hogs and uses Kubys Meat Processing to process the meat and then sees to it that that it gets on the plates of folks that can use it. In today's show Hirth explains his plan for utilizing the excellent wild pork. His plan is one that folks all across the state could put to use.
