Commerce – The Commerce City Pool, which was scheduled to open Saturday, June 5, will be closed indefinitely due to a major water leak underneath the surface of the pool.
The Parks and Recreation Department had already repaired several small leaks and when they began filling the pool, discovered a major leak underneath the pool. This leak cannot be reached without digging up the pool and could take several weeks to repair.
When the pool is repaired, it will be opened to the public.
