Council to Vote on Dealership Zoning

britainchevy.com

The Greenville City Council is scheduled Tuesday to consider permitting one of the city’s largest automobile dealerships to move to a new home.

Britain Chevrolet is seeking a zoning change and a conditional use permit, to allow the company to open at the intersection of the Interstate 30 service road and the still under construction Monty Stratton Parkway.

Public hearings are scheduled prior to the council taking votes on the measures during the regular session agenda, starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Municipal Building.

The Planning and Zoning Commission voted earlier this month to recommend the changes to the Council.

Britain Chevrolet currently operates a dealership at 4715 Wesley Street.
