Dr. LaVelle Hendricks Earns Addiction Counseling Honor

Dr. LaVelle Hendricks, associate professor of counseling at Texas A&M-Commerce, has received the D. Frank Davis Professional and Community Outreach Award in Addiction Counseling from the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals.  September is Recovery Month and at 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, Joe Powell, president of the Association of Persons Affected by Addiction in Dallas, will speak at a free event in Ferguson Auditorium on the A&M-Commerce campus.
